Some of the joys of retirement are the gift of time, the freedom to look at things in a new way, and the chance to both discover--and rediscover--new skills. It could be picking up a camera, or pulling out a once-forgotten guitar, or trying to put words on paper in a way you hadn't considered--but it is all good. And, perhaps, there is some measure of comfort and confidence that comes with age--and the thought that the most important critics and audiences are never far from your head and heart.
