Major at Williams: Art Design and Environmental Studies

 

Sustainable Design is a guiding principle in my practice as an Architect.  After Williams I received a Masters in Architecture from Harvard GSD and worked with Benjamin Thompson & Associates (BTA) for almost 30 years, becoming a Principal in 1988. Waterfront Master Planning and Adaptive Reuse projects like Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Miami Bayside, Union Station in Washington DC, Customs House Docks in Dublin, Cardiff Inner Harbour in Wales, Kirk Harbor Center in Grand Cayman and the Abasto de Buenos Aires gave new life to inner city waterfronts and underutilized buildings. Sustainable Design remains a focus now serving as an Owner's Project Manager for the Town of Needham, MA.
